It's a fact that from time to time things go wrong. Electrical faults can take many forms, they can be due to the age of the installation, DIY mistakes, vermin damage, water damage or even appliance faults. Whatever you do, if you have an electrical fault you should have it investigated and repaired as soon as you can; believe it or not electricity is as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than gas and you wouldn't leave a gas fault go un repaired.
